Dita said on her app that the power went out on her block just as she was getting ready for the gala which means that she couldn’t use hot rollers, a hairdryer and a steamer for a red 50s dress she actually wanted to wear.
She wanted to cancel at first but then decided to wear a different dress and do her hair this way. Like a true queen, she did her makeup with candles and a flashlight pointed toward her vanity mirror.
